Childbirth Education
Sarah teaches evidence-base, interactive classes designed to inform and prepare you however you choose to birth. Birth is a normal - and amazing! - process involving both body and mind. Classes are fun, interactive, and emphasize dialogue to best address a family's individual needs.
If a group class doesn't work with your schedule or you'd prefer a personalized class, Sarah can teach a private class at your home, designed specifically for your needs and interests. Sessions are 2 - 3 hours in length.

Full childbirth preparation series (3 - 6 sessions, 9 - 12 hrs)
A private class at your home, designed specifically for your needs
Cesarean birth - full childbirth education series (2 - 4 sessions, 5 - 9 hrs)
Refresher course (1- 2 sessions, 2 - 6 hrs)
Comfort Measures for Labor & Birth (1 session, 2 hrs)
Change of Plans: Preparing for an induction or Cesarean (1 sessions, 2-3 hrs)
Please contact me about scheduling classes. Weekday daytimes are generally available, but evening slots are very limited and fill quickly! I make a special effort to accommodate parents who are having an unexpected scheduled birth.
Classes are $100 for the first session, and approx. $30/ hr thereafter. E.G. , a full series is $280 - $400. Fee is determined based on expected hours. Comfort measures is $75. Discounts available for doula clients.
