About Sarah
I have been practicing yoga for 25 years and teaching for ten. Yoga has meant many different things to me on that journey and now helps me find my path on a day to day basis. I love being able to assist people on their own journeys of health and self-discovery. Off the mat, I love reading fiction, hiking, dance, and traveling with my family. I'm an active gardener and an activist for reducing global warming. My background is in science -- I have degrees in biology and public health and work experience in science advocacy, research, and at state and county health departments. In 2013 I left public health to focus on supporting families as a yoga instructor and doula. I am so thankful I have the opportunity to meet and support so many amazing people on their own yoga journeys, and feel especially blessed I have the opportunity to assist families in the sacred, private journey of becoming parents.
