Prenatal Yoga
I am currently offering pregnant and postpartum yoga only as private sessions as I currently teach group classes only at the YMCA. Group prenatal classes are hard to find due to pandemic-related studio closures and schedule reductions.
If you already have a consistent yoga practice you can continue yoga classes as long as you like; I am happy to teach you modifications for pregnancy. Often expectant parents will transition to to a gentler class in mid to late 2nd trimester. If you're new to yoga or looking for something slower, I'd recommend a gentle or AOA class with a prenatal-certified instructor. Hot yoga is not recommended during pregnancy. Please let me know before class if you are expecting or recently delivered.
Yoga is an beautiful way to care for yourself during pregnancy while preparing your mind and body for labor, birth, and postpartum. Beginning and experienced students are welcome.
