Prenatal Yoga is an beautiful way to care for yourself during pregnancy while preparing your mind and body for labor, birth, and postpartum. Classes are designed to support and strengthen the body and address the specific needs of individual students Classes include modifications of standard yoga postures, and breath and relaxation practices to support you in labor and recovery. Postpartum, yoga can help you recover in a gentle way.
Beginning and experienced students are welcome. You can begin prenatal yoga at any point during your pregnancy.

I also welcome pregnant students at my Monday evening class at Maya Whole Health in Renton, or Friday night Yin/restorative at the Coal Creek YMCA. Please tell me before class if you are are pregnant.

Private yoga sessions can be like a regular class, but at your home, or be specially designed for your individual needs or goals. Sarah teaches prenatal and postpartum yoga for any experience level, and is happy to included your partner - or your kids!

Birth Preparation Workshop Two hour workshop for expectant parents (and any others who will be attending the birth). This Confidence -building practice lets you explore movements, breath practices, massage, relaxation techniques, and other non-drug methods to cope with/ find comfort in labor with your birth team. I can teach this a private session in your home and offer a group workshop every few months.
