Mommy and Me Yoga Thursday 1:10 pm Family Yoga introduces yoga to young children through yoga play with their grown-ups! Class includes a mix of yoga movements with your baby, songs, storytelling through movement, and kid-relevant life lessons. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in, bring a yoga mat, and a baby blanket or changing pad if your child is still in diapers. Older preschoolers may want their own mats. Class is open to kids age 1 month through 5 years with a caregiver. Family yoga is structured as a series (usually four classes) around a theme.
Stuff to Know
It is okay for kids to be kids - If they needs eat, use the bathroom during class, won't sit still, or don't want to participate in certain activities - it's fine. We want them to feel comfortable and participate at their own pace.
Registration- create an account for yourself, then add your child as a student and register the child for the class. Registration includes one adult and one child. If other adults may attend, add them as students to complete the waivers; they do not need to register separately. You are welcome to bring another child if it is not disruptive to class.
Tuition/ fees: Tuition is $85/ 4 week session and includes one adult and one child. Tuition is rolling and automatically bills monthly. Months with less than four classes or mid month enrollments are prorated after registration, full month rate is charged when booking the first time. Drop in cost is $25. Select Drop In from the billing menu when registering and also the desired class dates. You can request consecutive dates, but nonconsecutive dates must be booked separately. Drop in classes are not billed at registration.
If you are going to miss a day you can schedule an absence through the customer portal up to 3 hours before your class and use the makeup for any open class, including classes for adults, within three months. No makeups for unscheduled absences.
COVID -19: Masks are required for everyone over age 5 and recommended for 2 and up. As of Oct 25, all vaccination-eligible individuals must provide proof of vaccination or exemption in order to participate in class per public health mandate. Please submit by email to [email protected] prior to the day of your first class with subject line "proof of vaccination."
We follow the Issaquah school district calendar during the school year, no classes will be held over Christmas Break, second winter break, or spring break, or if there are school cancellations due to weather.
